Navigating the transition from agency life to full time coach wasn’t easy but I am proud I didn’t let myself down in the process.

I’ve struggled with processing my own grief in the decade since my dad passed away unexpectedly and over the last year it has manifested as a growing hyper-vigilant fear of death that became quite consuming. Leaning into curiosity, I found myself reckoning with this fear through a confrontational, although not revolutionary, question that unlocked a fresh perspective that uncovered pride, comfort and resolve. Turning paralyzing fear into accountability and fierce action.

Stepping into a new role is uncomfortable. it can fuel a lot of self-doubt and have you questioning your confidence. Don’t let it. It is hard because you were ready for this hard. You’re growing and adapting to a new environment, it is meant to be messy and does not mean you’re not great at what you do.

Naming, defining and fully understanding your core values is critical in understanding yourself. They're a guiding compass in making big decisions, navigating tricky situations or building boundaries. But first it is important to fundamentally understand, what is core a value anyways?
